Had a fun day at Goodwill last Saturday ( Feb 3, 2018) as it was Half Price Day for card members! ~ That's me!
Actually I hit the Goodwill store twice because we had other appointments during the AM. I made a strategic stop in the afternoon when I wasn't rushed to get in and out.
WHAT DID I BUY?
I always look first for Golf Items as that is my primary "niche" to sell on eBay. Golf season, for our part of the country, is right around the corner so it is time to stock up!
However I also run a second store to sell everything else that isn't golf or sports related. IE: Antiques, Vintage, Retro, Collectibles and so on. I am putting most of my focus for that store on electronics as they tend to get a better R.O.I. ( Return On Investment).
With that in mind play the video below and see what I am listing this week after sourcing our own items, Goodwill and some Facebook garage sale sites.
FYI - I also throw in some thoughts on selling consignment items and shipping books via media mail....
Thoughts on Consignment Selling:
Consignment work can be a lot of fun, educational and profitable. I found a niche product to source for myself because of a consignment client a couple years ago that sells every time I find more. Now I also know I can add a variety of tools to my sourcing list from the experience gained helping my current client.
Yes - Selling consignment items can be a bit fickle but I believe the pros out way the cons. I will do a more extensive video / post on this topic in the near future.
So as I close out this topic today it has been a great learning experience.
First I am playing with a new phone app (Filmorago) and doing more of a "welcome to my world" style of video. Along with that I was able to set some new goals and be a bit more organized going into the "work" week.
Win / Win!
